Radical Reform: Islamic Ethics and Liberation with Prof. Tariq Ramadan

Muslims have lost something worth more than they can afford to lose: the recognition of the importance of the inner-dimension of faith, the ‘inner-jihad’. Maurits Berger wrote a book called “Islam is an orange”: hard on the outside, but soft on the inside. The norms and rulings are there, but they are carried by people who constantly work on bettering themselves. Without the inner dimension what’s left is a hard stone.
