Islam and Life: What is the purpose of fasting in Ramadan?

Masha’Allah very thought provoking program. I happened to cast a glance on several dimensions of sacred institution “Fasting”. I do believe , Fasting bolster our belief that we have ability to sacrifice for the formation of a system which can fetch peace, prosperity, serenity to humanity.
