I want to start by saying I am sorry. The moral question is essential. It has to do with coming back to God (tawba), forgiveness and love. Yet we should not underestimate the political dimension of this case. It was a political set up targetting a vocal activist-scholar. I am innocent of the charges against me as revealed by the two year investigation. This is further elaborated in the video below.

  1. Hollow barrels speak the loudest, as a saying goes. A voice of the voiceless can mean a reactionary who is just a “mouth”, where “medicine” goes in, and an ego “mouth” in the name of others’ egos speaks, such as in “my” case. Apart from this “mouth” there is the “loud” reactionary’s mouth at the same time shouting out about the underlying suffering, that severe injustice is being done. Indeed, no one cares, because it goes on and on and on…
It seems that politics is a “bridge” between violence and diplomacy. Being in a mind-medicinal prison “I” am in a position of having a buffering effect in dirty politics. It appeases the sick minds of some wrong powerful people that I am everything except being who I truly am. My true personality, mind & life aren’t there, instead “I” am smeared in the fools’ paradise. I am not allowed to be, let alone be a real bridge-personality in an International world, in the name of Allah (S.B.T.).
