Answer is No. The Ummah is multicultural but its a salad bowl not a melting pot. On the other hand, the UK has no experience of multiculturalism. Hence the resistance from the Right and White.
Muslims/immigrant who came to Europe made huge mistakes and I used to be angry about this. Now I take into account: – big numbers of immigrants – with low SES – little/no schooling; no masterplan besides making some money and return to their countries Of course this had to lead to some trouble.
