WASHINGTON (AFP) – The inclusion on a US terrorism watchlist of British singer-songwriter and peace activist Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, is under review, US Secretary of State Colin Powell (news – web sites) told AFP. Powell said he had asked for an inter-agency review of the Stevens case as well as that of Tariq Ramadan, a prominent Muslim professor whose US visa was rescinded on similar concerns last month, to determine whether they should be stricken from the watchlist.
