  1. Assalam ‘alaïkoum,

I am a French speaker but I am going to try to write in English about LGBT. It is a subject which interest me and I find the answer of Dr Tariq Ramadan quite useful to make understand the islamic principle around this subject. Muslims and Islam are usually attacked through it. We should not develp our understanding of the islamic principles at the light of the political agenda of different political groups which aimt at setting controversies against islam and the muslims. But at the same time, I find the answer of Dr Tariq Ramadan laking of substance. The principle is clear, but why LGBT is it prohibited ? In an academic point of view, the islamic thought is very poor about that question. I discussed with an homosexual which is not a believer, who aimts at specializing himself in the field of “gay studies” and his arguments are quite strong from the sociological point of view.
