Hello M. Ramadan,
It is my impression that non Muslims think that moderate Muslims do not speak out strongly enough, if at all, regarding the six problem areas you identify.You yourself say in your lecture that you do not want to be questioned. Within other groups – other religions, atheists, there is loud and public debating .Rather than be misrepresented, people state their position clearly, try to change things , or leave.
It is not surprising that stereotyping occurs. I don’t think you can have it both ways.

Your lectures are always thought provoking for those willing to take the time to think deeply, but I’m afraid many only see and understand issues at the surface level …

Tramadan when he speaks about islam the religion has an appeal which is only scarred for me at least by his insistence on political islam .This islam which u so passionately defend in front of nonmuslims , i wish muslims would see the same form of islam ,
