Have you seen your heart’s dream
Or has your soul ever been
To that true fantasy -
That garden evergreen
So tranquil, so serene
With diverse fruits truly sweet
Hanging from trees with green leaves
In orchards with fountains and flowery fields
Surrounding palaces bequeathed
To those
That believed?
For ’tis the meed of their deeds
A mead by their deeds
For their devotions and their grief
For past oblations, now relieved
As noble kings, royal queens
Amongst castles, amidst these
Vast lakes, rivers and streams
Flawlessly flowing beneath
- Refined honey, water, wine, milk -
And being dined with fine meals
Of the most sublime feasts and treats
Adorning silk garbs that feel
Like the most comforting breeze
Possessing every luxury
All treasures and jewellery
Worn by spouses who gleam
With much lustrous appeal
Around friends and family
A most picturesque scene
Stunningly unique
Beyond mere speech
Enriched, no enemies
Pure happiness, no jealousy
Thus profess will heartbeats
- In love, with complete ease
Every time that they breathe -
God’s eternal beauty
God’s grace eternally
Our True King, the Supreme
As His slaves are blessed free
With expanded chests, stress free
Received pleasing and well pleased
To go forth and go see
- As His Face shall be seen -
Then to roam in that realm
Whilst protected from hell
With joy overwhelmed
With the Prophets and the Veracious
And the Righteous and the Martyrs
Where all shall be enjoined to enjoy
Their ultimate destiny
Of peace upon peace
Residing forever in peace.
