3 commentaires - “[Day 9] Mastering yourself”

  1. Your comments give such a sincere message about humanity – the heart, the soul, the spirit.. Simply expressed from the heart, your daily message during Ramadan certainly reminds everyone what are the essential feelings in life which are really neglected and in need of harnessing – particularly anger. Thank you so much.

  2. Mastering oneself comes only with the outside help from God. If it were possible to master anger, bad emotions or any other sort of such things, there were no anger, hatred, envy, gossiping – you can continue the list. We can’t. But “what is impossible for people is possible with God.” We have an intention; He gives the means – new heart, mind and soul.

The same is about forgiveness. It’s not a duty. You can stretch out your will power as much as you want but you’ll get nothing. The only thing you can do is to humbly ask God to give you ability to forgive, to take away the heavy load of un-forgiveness from you, to stop carry that burden that poisons your life.

  3. You remind me in Kuwait in early 80’s Sheikh Mohammed Al Ghazali he use to speak in the Radio 7.00 AM day for 5 minutes
Before the people driving to work at 8.00 AM.
I wish you can do the same in the radio around the glob,
    7.00 AM in gulf
    7.00 AM in France
    7.00 AM in America
