Islamic Awakening – Conversation with Tariq Ramadan: “What is Jihad?”

DR, very good and well done this interview is so useful, enlightening and insightful. But let me drive your attention to something you always say and keep saying and l have been following you for quite a long time.I am just paraphrasing:
“Muslims are the victims of terrorist groups everywhere in the world, in Iraq, Syria and Africa”!
Africa is not a country!This is a very common mistake and perception on Africa media, politics, intellectuals and academics keep mentioning many countries and when comes to Nigeria, Ghana or Kenya, they just say in Africa!
Ebola was a typical example of this ignorance and bigotry although the epidemy was restricted just in three countries namely, Guinea-Conakry, Liberia and Sierra-Leone, it was all about Africa as if the whole of Africa was affected!
Please help us correct this common mistake and perception of Africa, which I rather find denigratiing and pejorative.
