Informally I want to add my comment to this. Quran, 29:10 “” Then there are among men such as say, “We believe in Allah”; but when they suffer affliction in (the cause of) Allah, they treat men’s oppression as if it were the Wrath of Allah””
Forgive me for not knowin the context, I’m a muslim convert of 4 years in the US. My comment is such, the very essence of this statement falls in line with the discussion of self reflection, and in my humble opinion would be coming from God and not man.
