As you leave

Time is going by, time has gone away.

These fasting days, these short nights of sleep and, of course, another way to live life and meaning.

A return to oneself, to one’s questions, one’s wounds and hopes. Coming back to You, ô God of peace, love and bounty!

This month is leaving us already and already some regrets for not having enough searched, prayed and loved. For not having enough exiled oneself from shadow, troubles, evils and nastiness.

The road continues. You leave but the path remains which is drawn ahead of us for the months to come. At your school. I was able to learn, to remember, that one must learn to love better, to thank, to forgive and to give. From one’s soul, one’s heart, one’s goods, one’s humanity.

This was my deepest prayer. I have asked the One to go along with me, always, every instant, to help me through His love and His closeness… not to forget.

Not to forget. His Presence and His bounty. Those I love and I have loved. My parents, my family, my sisters, my brothers and the whole humanity. To forget nothing… and to learn to serve better, to give, to give from myself… I prayed, I cried.

At the time you leave, I would like to whisper to every heart on the road… one must carry on, seeking, loving and giving. Whatever happens, facing sadness or adversity, our strength is this love, this spirituality.

It is night, and the Night of Destiny is softly going away. My prayers for Him to love us, to guide us and to protect us. My prayers for you, that He goes along with you. My prayers for Him to help us not to forget Him, not to forget the poor and the oppressed. My prayers for Him to protect us from the madness of our humanity.

My prayers for Him to hear us, to accompany us with His infinite Love. Time has gone away but this love is the key. That has no age and offers eternity.

…Happy ‘Id al-Fitr, Happy Festival

I hope the tears is sign of Rahmah, blessed from Allah which I had on Thursday morning when we made doa together in Regent Park Mosque, London. How weak and pathetic we are in front of Him.
