  1. Hearing you speak about islam I’m always wondering: is real islam only something for a well-educated elite. Do you have to be a philosopher to understand islam? It definitely isn’t as clear cut as you might want to. So what’s the connection between education and islam; is education a condition to practicing islam the right way?

    • That is a really good question. I could not resist putting in my two cents worth. I have been a Muslim for going on 8 years now. Education brought me to Islam. I had to be educated in the pillars of Islam and the pillars of faith before I could make a decision on whether or not I believed in them. Then I had to continue my education in the practice of Islam once I became a Muslim. And it’s an ongoing process. So for my part I have to chime in a resounding YES !!!! Without a doubt education is a condition to practicing Islam the right way. Also, it’s important to remember that education, learning, comprehension, understanding, takes place as much in the heart as it does in the head. I don’t remember where I heard this but it resonates as true: Religion without compassion can quickly become fascism.

  2. ‘ I looked forward to see you in New York In January, Insha’Allah’. God has blessed the journalist words..January being the exact month the ban lifted!

  3. they alaways judje islam throw media and newspaper and say it’s violent, if you want to know real islam , don’t search in media or tv or newspaper cuz they are big liers , if you want to know islam you should discover it by yourself, take the coran and read it and live your own experience , don’t ask people , the majority of them don’t tell the truth, it’s your deal , you have to make your opinion after your experience with islam and i’m shure that you will totaly change your mind.
