finding a good job with a headscarf is impossible! being “representative” doesn’t include muslimgear unfortunately. if a woman with an education chooses a job over a headscarf is that a sin? shouldn’t muslims focus on education and moving forward in the west? can a women be a good muslim without a headscarf?
the world must change its opinion of the headscarf and accept it finally. they will see little by little that a woman can be an excellent (and better) employee with/because of her headscarf! How can their opinion change if women don’t have the courage to wear it?

I have never had issues with my students over 13 yrs teaching, and my colleagues know and respect me for who I am. How many lost opportunities (to help heal my american culture, full of predjudice) had I NOT worn my headscarf!
Thanks be to Allah for his guidance and mercy to all of us!
Good for you! But what about woman who maybe are not as strong as you are. Not every woman can do those two jobs as you say!! So again the question, can a woman be a good muslim without a scarf?
