The 8th World Islamic Economic Forum will be convened this year in the Iskandar Development Region of the state of Johor, Malaysia, the fastest growing economic region in the country and one of the most significant business districts in Southeast Asia. Held at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre on 4 – 6 December 2012 with the theme “Changing Trends, New Opportunities” the 8th WIEF will discuss the changing dynamics in global business today after the Arab uprising and Eurozone crisis which leaves many doors open to new business opportunities elsewhere across the globe.
