To all of you, sisters and brothers, we wish a happy feast. Today, it is time to put one’s heart, one’s being, one’s body to rest and to gather all the people one’s loves : one’s family, one’s sisters and brothers, one’s friends. To smile, to offer, to love. After fasting, praying, supplicating. Still six days, if possible, during the coming month to complete the whole fast of the year.
The month of fasting is ending and life will start again. One should not forget, beyond one’s personal introspection, the destiny of the poor and the needy around the world, the victims of natural catastrophes or the oppressed under dictatorial regimes. It is necessary not to forget.
This is indeed the very lesson of this month : to rest today and, tomorrow, to live and to forget nothing. Spirituality is this remembrance, of the One, of one’s self, of the fellow human beings.
Thus, happy feast, without forgetfulness.
To Professor Ramadan & Team, all the sisters and brothers
EID MUBARAK
Thank you professor for the Ramadan’s chronicles, and for conveying these deep and meaningful messages in a beautiful way.
May Allah Bless you
Dear brother Tariq Ramadan
Eid Mubarak to you as well; we will be celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr tomorrow Sept 11,2010. As you might be knowing the country is badly hit by the worst floods in the history of Pakistan, so we’ll be celebrating Eid in a simple way by sharing our brothers & sisters who are out rendered homeless and need our help.
I get inspiration by your lectures and articles. May Allah (SWT) keep you in peace & in good health

Assalaamu alaikum Akhi Tariq. Jazak Allahu Khairan for the Ramadan Chronicles. It was a daily part of my Ramadan. Eid Mubarak to you and your family. Uhibbukum fiLLah.
The best Eid greeting I have ever received. Jazaka Allahu Khairan Br Tariq. Your Ramadan chronicles were also great.
Salaam!
Eid mubarak! Thanks again for your message. Ramadan is over, and as always the question rises: what have we really gained from this; how spiritual are we muslims still? I for one know I have a long way to go; just a month won’t do. The chronicles are meaningful and inshallah I will be coming back to them beyond ramadan.
Let us hope this lifetime is long enough to get it right.
For now, thanks mr. Ramadan.
Salamu Alaykum, thank you so much for your meaningful messages. As a convert to Islam.. Eid can be lonely..not to mention the whole month of Ramadan. But, your chronicles gave me insight and I truly appreciate that. May Allah grant you peace and long life. Eid Mubarak!
Brother Tariq,
