Top personalities from the world of culture, in the broadest sense, reflect aloud on the contemporary scene and explain how they see the future of their professional area.
The Fundació CatalunyaCaixa with Arcàdia continues this cycle, begun in autumn 2011 and after 9 sessions with large audiences, with the intention of creating a space for dialogue going beyond the work and formulations for which these personalities are known. We want to learn to look at and analyse the present through the eyes and the discourse of the guests.
The diversity of disciplines and points of view make Conversations at La Pedrera a mosaic of points of view allowing us to create a well-founded opinion of the world we live in.
The guests, from all over the world, will converse with people from this country.
In the autumn of 2012, we will be able to listen to the archaeologist Valerio Massimo Manfredi, the British writer Julian Barnes, Swiss essayist Tariq Ramadan Egyptian descent, and the sociologist Richard Sennett.
