Sunni, Shia, Salafi, Sufi…just to name a few schools of thought within our community. Each school
sees itself as rightly guided and lays claim to being the “saved sect.” So how do Muslims navigate the
choppy waters of intra-faith diversity? How do we remain faithful to our particularities while accepting
differences? This session will examine the theology of inclusiveness and the ethics of disagreement
in building the beloved community.
